Includes 2 photostatic copies of 1 TLS from FDR to JDM (24 Jan 1940) mentioning a meeting they had together; 1 carbon TLS from JDM to FDR (15 Mar 1940) concerning a special series of five telegrams Mooney sent by JDM from Rome in early March, 1940 (Box 1, Folder 13); 1 photostatic copy of 1 TLS from FDR to JDM (2 Apr 1940) thanking JDM for a special series of telegrams sent by JDM from Rome in early March, 1940; and 3 carbons of a TL (2 pp., 10 May 1940)) from JDM to FDR concerning the special telegrams sent by JDM from Rome.
