Collection-level Scope and Content Note
The Sofie A. Nordhoff-Jung Papers primarily consist of letters to and from Dr. Sofie A. Nordhoff-Jung, with some certificates belonging to her husband , Dr. Franz Jung. The Papers comprise .25 linear feet of material arranged in 16 folders in one box.
The Sofie A. Nordhoff-Jung Papers consist of correspondence to and from Nordhoff-Jung between 1900 and 1935, much of which is with the Georgetown University concerning donations she made. Other correspondence consists of personal and business correspondence by Nordhoff-Jung with prominent European doctors, including Oskar von Miller. One folder contains documents relating to the professional career of her husband while he was in Europe, including government documents from Prussia and Imperial Russia.
