Contains 4 ALS, 3 ACS to DE. Includes invitation to the conferring of an honorary degree on Rafroidi, a professor at the Sorbonne, Paris. Rafroidi also served as one of the translators for the French publication of a selection of poems by DE, entitled, "Terre et Paix" (Presses Universitaires de Lille, 1988). @ This folder also includes news article on the occasion which took place at the National University of Ireland with the French ambassador Bernard Guitton officiating. @ Folder includes an outline for a discussion of ""Religious Attitudes in the Writing of Desmond Egan."" Presumably prepared by DE and sent to Rafroidi."
