Series-level Scope and Content Note

From the Series:

The series includes 2 large photographs (b/w) of HLH. In addition, newsclippings and magazine articles about HLH spanning the three major periods of his career as public service administrator, secretary of commerce, and presidential advisor. Newsclippings on members of the Hopkins family, Robert and Stephen, are included. There are also a few news items on the Democratic National Convention, 1940, and on various public figures. Material is arranged in chronological order by decade within each folder. One folder of miscellaneous printed items (pamphlets, articles) collected at one time or another by HLH or RH is included at the end. (Box 7, Folders 1-16)
