Container Summary

This folder [No. 5 of 8] is comprised of personal notations of Father Andrew Graves, S.J. Items include: homily/meditation notes, sketchy notes regarding activities, and notes on local individuals. Of particular interest are the "Notes on the Maryland Province Hot Springs File" from the provincial's office. This essentially includes a record of correspondence, both correspondents and correspondence dates, between Hot Springs and the provincial's office during the 1940's through the early 1960's. Another interesting item is a record of personal "favors" rendered by non-Catholics followed by a record of hostile encounters with members of the same group.
