Container Summary
Contained are two basic items in this folder. The first is a demographical table concerning the religious denominations by county between 1900-1906. The other item is a legal pad containing historical/demographical notes concerning Catholicism in North Carolina from as early as 1800. Material has references to the Diocese of Charleston (South Carolina) in much of the l9th Century data. [It included North Carolina within its jurisdiction until 1868].
