Container Summary

Folder contains two reports and a set of meeting minutes. Items include: report on meeting of the Catholic Workers in Appalachia (1969), minutes of the Catholic Committee of Appalachia (1970), and the final report of the Council of the Southern Mountains, Inc., concerning the Appalachian Project to the Ford Foundation (July 22, 1967). This 132 page report consists of four sections: Background, the Program, Twenty Projects and the Condensed Financial Statement of receipts and expenditures from Nov., 1963 to Jun., 1967. This report is a summary of the project grant in the related areas of education, continuing research and publications applied for by the Council to the Ford Foundation in June, 1963.
