Container Summary
Provides a history of Madison County, North Carolina and notes concerning the town of Hot Springs as well as photostatic copies of printed historical sketches of Avery, Buncombe, and Yancey Counties. Included also is a typescript history entitled "The French Broad Route and The Life of the South." In addition, there is a photostatic copy of a printed article concerning Zebulon B. Vance, Governor of North Carolina during the Civil War.
