Copy of "Foundation Stones of Madison County" by Sadie Smathers Patton, January 1, 1951. Also, rough notes from census, 1860-1870; notes concerning history of the county, 1934-1937; notes on redevelopment area organization of Madison County, 1961 - provides a rough "State of the County" at that time. There is also David C. Cunningham's "A History of Hot Springs" which covers the period from its foundation up to 1952-bibliography included.
