Container Summary

3 Typed Letters Signed. Translator Heinz Norden writes to Hugh Merrick, discussing traslation associations; he also wishes to meet Merrick. The last letter (dated March 27, 1963) is addressed to "Meyer" and includes a clipping about the death of a British mountaineer at Khumbu Glacier, at the foot of Mount Everest. The clipping is from the Herald Tribune, Wednesday, Marcy 27, 1963 -- "Everest Expedition Member Killed by Falling Wall of Ice."
