Meyer, about to retire from business in 1963, writes a letter to the editor of East Africa and Rhodesia expressing his appreciation for this publication during the years he was in business. Mr. F. Stephen Joelson responds with a request to reproduce the letter in a forthcoming issue, assuring Meyer that the letter would be reproduced anonymously. H. A. Meyer's letter appeared on page 833 of East Africa and Rhodesia, Volume 39, number 2016 (May 30, 1963).
