5 Typed Letters Signed. Mr. Geoffrey Haine writes to Hugh Merrick about adapting some of Merrick's works (particularly Out of the Night) for the cinema. At first, Mr. Haine is enthusiastic and willing to assist with adaptation and marketing to Production Companies. He discusses options on the book with Mr. Gerald Pollinger. However, Haine is assigned to another project and unable to assist Merrick with this venture.
