Container Summary

Contains TL, 1 page/1 sheet [incomplete] with handwritten comments by Gleason. Three-page letter originally sent by Rice to Gleason regarding editorial changes to the jazz manuscript and the publisher's decision to cancel their contract on the horse manuscript. Third page of the letter returned to Rice with Gleason's handwritten comments written in the text.
