Contains the series of correspondence sent by an unidentified individual to Edward Rice in response to his work on Thomas Merton, "The Man in the Sycamore Tree", over the period 1972-1973, 5 items. [Note: The individual claims to have been in the Trappist monastery with Merton for the period 1944-47. The language in the correspondence is vulgar and crass and appears to have been written by a person who was mentally unstable.]
