Container Summary

A copy of an unsigned, undated seven page typescript "Surcease not Success" annotated in Warnke's hand. It reviews the history of American involvement in Vietnam through 1967 as an increasingly over-emphasized episode in the East-West struggle. "In the Nixon years, Vietnam reverted to its initial subsidiary status as an aspect of a confrontation between the Western World and the Communist giants.
