Container Summary

An off-print of George W. Ball's article from the April 1, 1973 issue of the New York Times Magazine "The Lessons of Vietnam; Have we learned or only failed?" Sent with Ball's business card. The article is notable for its illustrations, caricatures of political figures dressed as football players fumbling or otherwise misplaying the football marked " V ". Ball himself is represented by a dignified photo in a box labeled "The lonely voice of dissent."
