Early letter (TLS) from Richard N. Gardner, who would oversee many of the issues studies for the Carter Campaign. A letter from George W. Rothschild (TLS) with a Chicago Sun-Times clipping naming Warnke as one of Carter's advisors. The letter of welcome to the Foreign Policy and Defense Task Force and a copy of the press packet announcing its formation. Shown to Clifford with a note from Warnke. Copies of Warnke's letters to Adam Yarmolinsky on his draft "Terms of Reference" and to Gerard C. Smith on his "Nuclear Agenda."
