Working correspondence on the panel's business. An exchange with Roswell L. Gilpatric (TLS) who expresses strong disagreement with profiteering charges in the draft report and Warnke confesses to the same reaction. A strong dissent (TLS) from the report draft by William R. Corson. A letter (TLS) from James M. Gavin explaining the retired status of Gen Matthew Ridgway and saying that call from Sen McGovern was perhaps the only way to obtain his help. A copy of a memo for McGovern of the first security briefing presented by Alexander Haig.
