Container Summary

Official Unclassified Chronological files of the Office of the Assistant Secretary of Defense for International Security Affairs 31 [sic] June 1967 through 31 Oct 1967. Mostly administrative in nature except for a copy of a letter from Paul H. Nitze to J. William Fulbright on a bill that would limit the authority of the Defense Department on foreign military sales. Also a copy of a draft statement for Warnke suggesting that Sen Case had misunderstood testimony of Sec McNamara on the effectiveness of attacking North Vietnamese ports.
