Container Summary

Letters to Warnke and copies of his replies. Noted enclosures are usually missing. Notable is a letter (TLS) from Townsend Hoopes, then President of the Association of American Publishers conveying the text of his remarks at a program featuring Richard E. Neustadt, author of "Presidential Power" and a letter (TLS) from Robert E. Pursley (USA Ret.) inclosing photocopies of transcripts of an FBI phone tap which record a conversation between Pursley and Warnke in 1970.
