Container Summary

Copy of a paper, "Two decades in the Front Office; Reflections on How the Peace Foundation Operated in Cold War Washington", prepared for the Bellagion Project by Thomas L Hughes, President of the Carnegie Endowment and presented by him at a Pew Trust/Ford Foundation conference in Italy. Also a note of transmittal to Warnke and a copy of a letter of compliment and thanks from Warnke to Hughes. Warnke suggests two changes. One is on the role of Lane Kirkland in the SALT Treaty. The other is on the separation of CSIS from Georgetown University.
