References to his wife Eleanor being with him, moving into a larger apartment at the Excelsior Hotel, several the diplomatic officials to the Vatican, Giovanni Battista Montini, visits with Pope Pius XII, Italians' views of the United States, their children being happy at Le Rosey school, and Fr. Emmanuel Mistiaen.
