1 Typed Letter (carbon) dated Spring 1959 from Harold H. Tittmann, Jr. to U.S. Senator William J. Fulbright, regarding certain aspects of the foreign policy of the United States as revealed in the memo he attached, "A few considerations of State bearing upon the possible establishment of a permanent United States diplomatic mission to the Holy See." The memo is preserved in this same folder, 3 pages. Tittmann offers his opinion that the U.S. should establish a permanent diplomatic presence in the Vatican.
