1 Typed Letter Signed dated 6/18/1963 from Adolf A. Berle to Harold H. Tittmann, Jr., regarding the appointment of an American special representative to the Vatican. References to Cardinal Spellman's role in the process, Myron Taylor being appointed to that post before a press release was sent out, and Berle not publishing his diary in the near future. Sent from New York City to Washington, D.C. Tittmann kept post-it notes in this folder: (1.) "Adolf Berle excerpts from his dairy about U.S.-Vatican diplomatic mission 1939." (2.) "Letters and HHT's opinion on U.S.-Vatican relations."
