References to Cardinal Spellman's role in the process, Myron Taylor being appointed to that post before a press release was sent out, and Berle not publishing his diary in the near future. Sent from New York City to Washington, D.C. Tittmann kept post-it notes in this folder: (1.) "Adolf Berle excerpts from his dairy about U.S.-Vatican diplomatic mission 1939." (2.) "Letters and HHT's opinion on U.S.-Vatican relations."
