The Americans could be protected by Hanabergh, the American Consul in Cartagena, Colombia. Sent from Cartagena, Colombia. Also, 1 Autograph Letter Signed dated 7/11/1867 from Lopez to Hanabergh, regarding monetary compensation for the American sailors.
