Language of materials note
Although most of the collection is in English, the Rentz Papers contain a substantial number of Arabic-language documents, including the propaganda material printed by the Palestinian Liberation Organization in the 1960s and letters from Saudi officials.
Conditions Governing Access
Most manuscripts collections at the Georgetown University Booth Family Center for Special Collections are open to researchers; however, restrictions may apply to some collections. Collections stored off site require a minimum of three days for retrieval. For use of all manuscripts collections, researchers are advised to contact the Booth Family Center for Special Collections in advance of any visit.

1 Printed Booklet dated 06/30/1984 entitled "United States Ship Rentz (FFG-46)", commemorating the launching of the U.S.S. Rentz, a guided missile frigate. Contains black-and-white images of George S. Rentz, Sr., the namesake of the ship, President Ronald Reagan, Casper Weinburger, Secretary of Defense, and John Lehman, Secretary of the Navy. Also includes images of the ship-building progress and the entire crew of the ship.
