Container Summary
Santa Anna. Printed Document Signed, 1 page. Dated 6/28/1866. With engraved illustrations, a bond issue in New York City for a loan against Santa Anna's Mexican properties which are pictured on it. This was an attempt by the General to raise money for another chance at becoming President of Mexico, which would have been his fifth term in office. Formerly in the possession of Santa Anna's descendant, Jose Pavon. Gift of Richard Bloomgarden, 2007.
