Container Summary

Napoleon I. Letter Signed (in French) to Comte de Cessac, Minister of the War Administration in Paris, 2 pages. Dated 2/19/1812. Replying to a letter sent by Cessac regarding the Russian campaign, proposing that 240 chariots being manufactured be sent to Mayence to be included in an arsenal, and mentioning a company in Metz. Signed by Napoleon I. A margin note is signed by Cessac regarding army preparations. Gift of Thierry van Essche, 2004.
