Napoleon I. Letter Signed (in French) to the Municipal Administration of Du Canton D'Ajjaccio, 1 page. Dated 5/6/1797. Stating that the 19th Brigade of Legion is on its way to Corsica. Notifying that he has given orders for the Gendarmerie in their department to be paid to settle their accounts. Mentioning that the treasurer will be recalled. And, informing that the "tourio" will be demolished to pay for public expenditures. Stamped as being part of the Biblioteca Lindesiana. Gift of Thierry van Essche, 2004.
