Daudet, Alphonse. Autograph Letter Signed (in French) to "Monsieur," 1 page. Dated 5/2/1896. Indicating that his secretary informed him about a volume of stories to be published in French with English notes. Daudet has given his general approval but is concerned about duplication of some of his stories already published in other books. Daudet hopes to prevent competition among British bookshops. Sent from Paris, France. Gift of Paul F. Betz, 2004.
