Container Summary

Burns, T.F. Typed Letter Signed to Rev. Wilfrid Parsons, S.J., 2 pages. Dated 1/25/1938. Recalling to mind their meeting in New York when Burns was with Sheed & Ward and introducing author Graham Greene who will travel to Mexico to study political and economic issues there for a new novel to be published by Longmans. According to Burns, Greene is a fine novelist and a Catholic. Burns also suggests that Greene should be given a free hand in his writings. Sent from Longmans Green and Company Limited in London c/o "America" magazine in New York City.
