1 Typed Letter Signed dated 10/20/1976 from Archibald B. Roosevelt, Jr., Vice President of the Chase Manhattan Bank, apologizing for not visiting Iran. Roosevelt had stayed with Prince Hassan of Amman, but was told that there were no hotel rooms in Tehran due to a conference. Roosevelt would like to discuss with Helms the state of affairs in Iran. Roosevelt mentions a tour around the Arabian Peninsula. Also, in reply, 1 Typed Letter (carbon) dated 11/2/1976 from Helms to Roosevelt, regretting that he did not see him and sharing Helms' decision to resign as U.S. Ambassador to Iran.
