Helms to David Packard, of Hewlett-Packard Company, complimenting Packard on the booth in the American Pavilion at the International Trade Fair and informing him of Helms' plans to resign as U.S. Ambassador to Iran. Also, 1 Typed Letter Signed dated 10/29/1976 from Packard to Helms, introducing to Helms Dean Watkins, of Watkins-Johnson Company in Palo-Alto, and his wife Bessie Watkins, who will visit Iran for the first time in December. And, 1 Typed Letter Signed dated 11/8/1976 from Packard to Helms, thanking him for sending a photograph [not retained] of his exhibit at the International Trade Fair and hoping to visit with the Helmses upon their return to America.
