1 Typed Memo Signed dated 9/22/1992 from Burton L. Gerber, Chairman of the National HUMINT Requirements Tasking Center, recording the events occurring at Richard M. Helms' dinner for Vadim Bakatin, former Soviet Minister of Internal Affairs, and Oleg Kalugin, a former KGB General, on December 18, 1992. Topics discussed include the NKVD, the coup attempt of August 1991, and how Bakatin became head of the KGB. Gerber notes that the Cold War has indeed ended since the former head of the CIA dined with the former head of the KGB.
