Helms, mentioning the Son Tay Raid and enclosing 1 Typed Letter Signed (photocopy, retained in this folder) dated 11/6/1970 from Laird regarding his discussion with President Richard Nixon about a helicopter raid into North Vietnam to free American prisoners of war and also enclosing an Autograph Letter dated 11/19/1970? from Nixon to Laird providing the president's backup for the helicopter raid.
