Kirkpatrick, Jr., commenting on the typescript of a book about Richard Helms by Thomas Powers entitled "The Man Who Kept the Secrets: Richard Helms & the CIA," which Bross has just read. Note is made of a quotation by Kirkpatrick regarding proposed CIA-sponsored assassinations. Sent from McLean, Virginia to Naragansett, Rhode Island. No assassinations were actually carried out.
