References to cleaning the school, the school's gym being unlike gyms in the U.S. (no basketball hoops, for example), the director's house, playing tennis, a carnival, a boxing match, a student's report of the conditions in Berlin, German currency, Soviet occupation of East Berlin, a tennis match in Dusseldorf, and Jerry Conover.
