Correspondence, 1948-09-11

 File — Box: 1, Folder: 12

Scope and Contents

1 Autographed Letter Signed (in French) dated September 11, 1948 from Pierre Teilhard de Chardin to Adrienne Croissant. He opens with a question of whether the universe and humanity are connected. He discusses that the struggle of man is to find his place amidst time and often through religion. Academia, in his example Biology, is the path to which the mind is enamored by God's creation. This realization comes with responsibility to build the earth.
