Scope and Contents

1 Autographed Letter Signed (in French) dated September 19, 1952 from Pierre Teilhard de Chardin to Adrienne Croissant following a geological survey in California. Amidst the discussion of the cyclotrons, the National Glacier Park, and les Rocheuses, he discusses how thought, energy, and money have changed humanity. Upon his return to New York, he has begun his questioning of the origin of man in Africa. He mentions the death of his friend, Jouve.
