Correspondence, 1949-08-20

 File — Box: 1, Folder: 22

Scope and Contents

1 Autographed Letter Signed (in French) dated August 20, 1949 from Pierre Teilhard de Chardin to Adrienne Croissant discussing in great detail a calm routine; visiting Olivier-Christophe, an infant, reading a Hemingway novel etc. He anticipates a busier schedule following his conferences about L'Homme. He comments on an excommunication he read about in the journal of St. Pere much to the chagrin of the moderns. He mentions the meaning of being, world crises, death, the existence of God in a broader discussion of L'homme.
