Herzog, stating his belief that the Manuscript Society correctly abandoned a legal fight in Maine (the Stan Klos case) over ownership of a copy of the Declaration of Independence. Cox also lists reasons why he believes the Manuscript Society should join a case involving a dispute over the ownership of an 18th Century newspaper from South Carolina.
