Container Summary

1 Typed Letter dated 07/20/1979 from Kenneth M. Olex, deputy attorney general, state of New Jersey, to Joseph Rubinfine, notifying him that the state Bureau of Archives and History was starting a replevin action by asserting a claim to ownership of a 1765 letter signed by colonial governor William Franklin. Attached to this Typed Letter is a Printed Article of New Jersey Statutes Annotated (N.J.S.A.) 47: 3-27, and a Printed Article from "American Historical Autographs," date unknown, listing signed colonial documents from the 17th and 18th centuries for sale.
