1 Autograph Letter Signed dated 11/29/1977 from Henry Bartholomew Cox to Mary A. Benjamin (identified here as "Mary") commenting on her article in a Christmas issue of "The Collector" and further describing Cox's view of how the West opinion could affect the possession of historical documents. This letter also includes handwritten comments from Henry Bartholomew Cox regarding legal issues Cox raised in his "amicus curiae" brief before the Supreme Court of North Carolina as part of the West case. Included with this letter is an Autograph Manuscript, in the handwriting of Henry Bartholomew Cox, comprising a list of 16 sets of historical documents from the 18th, 19th, and 20th centuries.
