West, Jr., to Henry Bartholomew Cox admitting that while he knows little about law, "several points in the decision don't jibe with my thinking," especially regarding differences in record safekeeping and custody between the 18th and 20th centuries. West also discusses contacting British collectors to learn about British rulings dealing with 18th Century recordkeeping practices.
