1 Typed Letter Signed from B.C. West, Jr., to Richard Maass dated 11/23/1976, discussing legal fees for the case. West also asks Maass to solicit amicus briefs from institutions affiliated with the Manuscript Society as part of an appeal to the state Supreme Court. Included with this letter is 1 Printed Article from The (Raleigh) News and Observer dated 11/18/1976, referring to the ruling by the North Carolina Court of Appeals. The article, which is photocopied, also contains a handwritten note from B.C. West, Jr., to Henry Bartholomew Cox.
