1 Typed Letter Signed dated 11/29/1976 from Richard Maass of the Manuscript Society's Emergency Defense Committee for the B.C. West Case alerting members of the North Carolina appeals court ruling, noting that West planned to appeal the decision to the state Supreme Court, and urging Manuscript society members to file amicus briefs as part of West's appeal. Attached to the letter is 1 Printed Article from The (Raleigh) News and Observer dated 11/20/1976 referring to the appeals court ruling in N.C. v. West.
