1 Autograph Letter (with envelope), dated 9/11/1914, from Hilaire Belloc to Emma Pescatore, regarding an interesting letter about the start of World War I from Antoine Pescatore, the different approaches to the war by Churchhill, Kitchener, and Harmsworth, two missing soldiers, Lillian Hamilton's son and Aubrey Herbert, another soldier, Maurice Baring, who is unuhurt, the Flying Corps, "Land and Water", and the possible length of the war.
