Ireton references possible problems, previous work done by Father Magri and Bishops McGill, Gibbons, Keane, and O'Connell, and advises Bailey to speak with Dr. Peter Guilday in addition to Dr. Tracy Ellis. The letter also discusses Bailey's work at Georgetown University, John Carroll, and the Norfolk Schism. Dated 5/3/1947.
