Williams to the New York University Press, stating that he could not corroborate an account that the 71st New York Regiment showed cowardice under fire as alleged in "The War Dispatches of Stephen Crane" by R.W. Stallman and E.R. Hagemann and revealing that he did not give permission to use a photograph of Crane in Greece. Also, 1 Typed Letter Signed from Robert T. King, Managing Editor of the New York University Press to Williams, regarding those alleged mistakes.
