Includes his early life and World War II service, and his experiences at the US Mission in Greece, 1948; his work on pre-Point Four planning with the State Department, 1950; his work with Point Four and the North Arab States; his work at the creation of TCA; dealing with US assistance to Israel, 1953; with the Greece-Turkey-Iran division, 1954; on assignment in Tel Aviv as Deputy Mission Director, 1958-59; in Greece, 1959-60; as AID Representative to East Africa, 1960-62; as Regional Coordinator, Bureau of Program and Policy Coordination in Washington, D.C.; as AID Representative to Ceylon, 1967; in Afghanistan, 1969; and with international agriculture organizations in Rome, 1972.
